Supervised by the Board of Directors, the ITIM is divided into three departments - linked by the Study Coordinator and supervised by a Department Director - to which are added Project Managers and the Secretary who are not involved in research activities but who carry out certain technical functions.

Project managers perform specific tasks that are essential to the smooth running of the Institute. The roles, which can evolve, include in particular the HR team (Recruitment Manager, Headhunter) and the technical team (Webmaster, Community Manager).
